.
I purchased this car in 2015. I stopped driving it a few years ago after the brake fluid level fell below the minimum fill line. This was likely caused by a bolt that fell off of a flatbed truck and struck the bottom of the car while on the interstate. It took a couple of month for the brake fluid level to fall to the point where intermittent failures occurred.
The car has been in my garage for the last few years, and I don't have the time to work on it. It will need to be worked on in order to run again. Below are the issues that potential buyers will want/need to address.
- Brake line leak, as described above.- Keys were lost. They were in a backpack that was lost and never found.- Driver-side door lock is damaged from an attempted theft. I had it parked on the street when I first stopped driving it. I garaged it after that. See picture.- Key ignition damaged from the same theft incident. Part of the steering wheel and dashboard is disassembled while I tried to remove the old ignition, but I don't have some of the required tools, so I stopped work.- The engine diesels and oil leaks into cylinder.- R12 Freon has leaked out long ago (before I owned the vehicle), so the AC system doesn't work.- There is a wheel imbalance that causes vibration at and above 75 MPH.- Some of the dash lights are burnt out.- One of the turn signal relay contacts doesn't work. Signal will light up, but doesn't blink.- Red accent trim is needed on the front bumper and passenger fender.- Low beam switch doesn't work, but high beam switch does work.
The car has a nice coat of paint. It doesn't fully show in the pictures because of dust that has settled on the car while in my garage. Rear axle was fixed in 2015.
