For sale 1962 impala this is a barn find it has been in the barn dry storage since 1996 the last registration last tags 1996 this is from an estate

How you see the car is how I found it in remarkable shape since pulling it out we went through the fluids brakes work engine works runs really good. It has a 62 Chevy 327 and M 22 four-speed transmission transmission shifts tightly as it should, the engine runs good does leak oil from the rear main and oil filter you will need to address them so they don’t get worse but it does leak oil

interior of the car it’s pretty nice turn signals don’t work horn don’t work lights work speedometer works. Gas gauge works hot and cold gauge works. Oil pressure gauge works. All the metal is original GM all original to the car. Solid car original floors solid original rockers solid original quarter panels solid doors are solid one little bubble passenger side lower corner is all I see fenders original so what I’m saying it’s obvious that this car has not been cut up or had any patch panels or any type of work like that all in beautiful shape the cars is in remarkable shape. The paint is over 30 years old and shows signs of where scratches dings touchups chips and so on . There are two dings that I noticed one on the trunk by the SS emblem one in the front of the hood all the trim appears to be original and shows signs of wear as well side moldings look wonderful. The grill looks great, the molding on the hood has a ding. The bumpers are original and have scuff marks the SS trim panel in the back is original and show signs of wear along with the trim. Trunk pan is original and not rusted out and roof is in wonderful shape headliner is in beautiful shape. Has one small area that needs a little attention about 1 to 2 inches long by the rear molding trim. The interior at one point seems to have been replaced. I do not believe that it is not original, but it looks very nice and doesn’t need anything the chrome 4 speed console looks to be original center console between the seat is a reproduction SS grab bar is original. I do not know if this car is an original SS or not selling it as just a plain Jane Impala. I could be wrong all the glass in beautiful shape. Lights work brake lights work. The redline tires are in remarkable shape. Do not show signs of weather appear to be damn near new. At some point the engine had an HEI installed. Radio does not work or not hooked up. This Impala isn’t driving or driver condition. It is not a show car quality but a remarkable preserved 62 impala. The paint will need some attention to make it. Perfect chrome whatever someone personally wants to do to the car. I think it’s a great start. I do not believe this has matching numbers Runs and drives amazing really fun car. If you have any questions further, please don’t hesitate to ask and I will answer them to the best of my ability. I try to be clear and honest with all my options. Please see my feedback I will do my best to help the salon. Buyer is responsible for pick up and shipping one more note the trunk is really hard to open. You have to push down and play with the key. It takes a while to open. I don’t know why but it’s a pain in the ass. Just remember that please
