1950 Chevrolet 3600

1950 Chevy 3600 Pickup; Resto-Mod with upgrades, runs and drives good, solid!

This 1950 Chevrolet truck runs and drives well. It is a lot of fun to drive while hauling grandkids during family events at the farm. It is an attention getter when driven in the neighborhood, in parades, and shown in local car shows.

It had been previously restored and upgraded with front disc brakes, GM 10-bolt differential, manual 4-speed, and 15-inch Chevy rally wheels. It was converted to a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator, and had a 12-volt gage set, tachometer, and turn signals added. The truck’s upgrades and black repaint have weathered well over the years with only minor chips and dings present. The pickup is very solid, with only minimal evidence of any rust. It has been either garaged or stored in a barn for the past couple of decades.

More recently, the interior has been refreshed with new door cards, floor mat, window channels, interior sun visor and more. The 235 cubic inch 6-cylinderengine was tuned-up with new plugs, wires, and distributor cap. The horn, radio and emergency brake are presently inoperative. Overall, the pickup still presents itself well, and gets lots of attention and thumbs-up!
