DETAILS - So you can read endless descriptions of Corvettes and 71 Corvettes in general in other eBay ads dealers have posted - so following is more detail about this car from the owner.

I bought it from Florida on eBay - I had a C3 once before and wanted a “chrome bumper version” this time. Took car to Restoration Techniques, near Houston – great classic car specialists. The owner opened the hood and said "Charlie, that’s a Chevrolet crate motor" (a past owner put in).

They checked it out completely – tuned the engine / replaced all ignition wires / reworked front end installing new control arm bushings and ball joints / replaced old exhaust manifolds with new silver ceramic coated manifolds (just for cosmetics).Found everything else in very good mechanical shape.

They checked and found the dash AC inside unit working fine then replaced every AC component under the hood with new – compressor, condenser, etc. so AC does well even in our climate

Gauges and clock all work fine.

Circle D Transmissions of Houston did the complete conversion upgrade from the old TH-400 to 700R4 transmission - 4 speed overdrive - It shifts and drives smooth and about as fast as you want to drive it. Check Circle D website - they build these 700R4 transmissions specifically to install themselves to the highest standards possible with all internal partsto upgrade better than stock - you can look up what these parts are if interested.

Top is excellent. Tires are excellent

If a number matching Vette is a big deal to you, this isn't your car, but if not, this is a very good car to buy. I hate to sell it but building another classic car ground-up and can use the money for that. Thanks
