1980 Chevrolet Camaro

1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 “Survivor”. This is a well documented car with 78K original miles. There are receipts of everything done to the car including oil changes back to the 1980’s. I have the original build sheet found behind the rear seat as well as original owners paperwork. The car is a Van Nuys California built camaro with the LM1 motor (this was the highest performance motor available to order) All numbers matching car with all original paint (except for the rear bumper cover). I have the receipt from when the bumper was repainted years ago. I would rate the car a “5 to 10 footer” driver quality. The car has never been rusty and it’s very original down to the carpet and interior.
The car was originally shipped to Tom Jumper Chevrolet in Georgia after it was assembled in California. (still has all the original smog equipment) The car has spent most of its life in Georgia and Florida. I bought the car here in Florida. I have recently put some time and money into it to make it present better.
Here is a list of the things I have done in January 2023:New exhaust - original exhaust was on it when I bought itNew master cylinder - all new brake fluid in linesNew tires purchased and installedOil changeRadiator repairedTransmission seals replaced - all new seals on entire transmission- all new fluid - transmission was in perfect shape but seals went bad from age after trans vacuum modulator went bad and was replaced - 2k later it’s perfect.
Mechanically the car is very sound and you could drive it anywhere. Runs straight down the road no issues. Air conditioning blows cold!
The body of the car is decent shape but there are multiple small dents (that could be PDR’d). It’s original paint and body so it’s not perfect. Nicks and small imperfections can be seen up close. There is one small spot on the top of passenger front fender where it appears someone buffed too much. A good classic car painter could fix this area pretty easily without have to paint that much. The spoilers probably look the worst, but again, they are original with original graphics. I just don’t want to mess with it because someone may just like it the way it is. Overall the paint shines well and it looks good.
A few of other things I want to disclose is that the drivers window has some scratches and moves up slowly. the speedometer bounces at times. All gauges work except clock. Aftermarket radio and and antenna ( dash not cut up). No space save tire and inflator bottle. I want whoever buys it to be happy so I am trying to as picky as possible. I am a car guy and I know what a decent car is.
I have really enjoyed this car. I am moving back up North so I am selling it before I leave.
Please read my feedback. I have 100% feedback and intend to keep it that way.
Thanks for looking!
