This car is for sale/offers locally as well.
I first saw this awesome slick black Stingray Convertible in 1982. It had fresh paint and a site to see ! It belonged to my best friends neighbor, an older gentlman. I admired it, but, it was not to be touched ! it was his Baby. He did his turn in Veitnam and when he was done, came out and bought himself this 1969 Black 4sp Corvette roadster w/side pipes. This was in Virginia in 1971 and the car was two years old. He drove the car to California just after that, where he and the car stayed. He bought a newer Vette in the late 80's or so and garaged this one and it sat, driving it once to a car show in the 90's as he recalled. This man knew of my love and appreciation of old cars as he had seen me driving many diferent classic cars over the decades that I was working on when I stopped to visit my best friend who lived next door. We would talk about the work. When it was time for him to pass on his baby, he knew I would be a goodowner. I really enjoy driving it around, it is a blast and the side pipes sound really good !
First time on the market sence 1971 !

Lastly.......Why am I selling this car ????........ I am 6' 3" tall 230lb and I am having a nerve problem with my right leg that makes it hard for me to get in and out.
I have a warehouse space to store cars and am ok keeping it if there in case there is no serious interest out there, but I thought I might offer it. It is a nice piece, and it's pretty hard to come by honest cars like this nowadays.
About Me: I have been working on old cars since I was 14 years old (56 now) and have owned many, many cars. . I am not a flipper, I really enjoy doing the work and driving the cars! I believe this hobby should be FUN and will be as honest as I can about this car.I hope you understand what that is worth.
