1967 Corvette convertible with 32,000 miles. This car is numbers matching. The original owner stored it for 40 years. The undercarriage and engine compartment has been detailed. The paint and interior is original and definitely has wear, like scratches and chips. I have been told that this is a no hit body. It will need a new convertible top ASAP. Just to be honest, the parking brake needs to be adjusted, the radio doesn't work. The car has been stalling out after 10 or 15 minutes of driving. If you park it for a few minutes it starts up again. I'm not sure if the choke is hooked up or not working. It's cold in Wisconsin and it takes a while for the car to warm up so it can idle. The car has never been driving in the winter due to the salt on the roads. I have a hard top for the car that's not original. It's not included in the sale, but you could purchase it after the auction. The engine is the upgraded 327 with 350 hp. It's got the telescoping steering wheel. 4 speed trans. The car has an aluminum radiator in it. I have that with some other parts that belong in the engine compartment. The original motor is out of the car. The owner before me wanted to freshen it up since it sat for 40 years. As far as I know there should be no problem with that motor. I was told that the motor in the car now was from a '68, but I have no idea if that is true. I've had a lot of fun with this car, but I want a larger convertible from the 60's or earlier so I can take my entire family on cruises. I'm trying to be very honest about the condition of this car. Please keep in mind this is an old car that has flaws. Please ask any questions before bidding.
