This is a 1970 Chevelle SS396 that has sat since the 1980's. It is rusty, and would be a very large project for restoration, so make sure you are bidding on what you will follow through on. Appears to be all original, and the numbers I went after are matching. This is NOT a runner or driver, great donor or parts car. Clear Wisconsin title. Engine suffix is CTX, Correct Qjet carb 7040205, 12 bolt rear axle tube stamping is pictured along with the sway bar and boxed control arms. Has the original Muncie shifter, a Muncie transmission with a gear reduction unit for the speedometer cable. Car was equipped new with the Cowl Induction hood, and all corresponding parts are in place. Factory tach, clock and gauges, Miles shown are original. Dash and pad are in nice shape. I looked for the build sheet inside each door panel and inside each bucket seat back, and looked no further. The car is original inside and build sheet may be in headliner, kick panels, etc. It was parked in the 80's, and is a true "barn find", complete with the barn crud and smells. Again, it is rusty! Trunk pan is junk, floors are not the worst I've seen, every body panel is rusty except for the hood, which is useable. Frame behind rear wheels is rusted through.
