1988 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. 5-Speed Manual Transmission. Real G92 RPO Option Car. Original Black with Beechwood Leather/cloth combo interior and gold IROC Wheels. Clean Texas title in my name.
Beautiful color combination! I personally think the black paint with the gold wheels and beechwood interior is the best-looking color combo out there!
* New original style Convertible Top and carpet professionally installed.* New convertible latch upgrade from Hawks professionally installed.* Newer Hancook tires.* Exempt from registration because it is registered as an antique auto.* New Front Brakes and Rotars.

I've owned this car for 7 years and only driven it 1500 miles. Only selling due to moving. The car runs great and is a fast car. There are no issues that I am aware of. The car is 36 years old. It does have rattles, squeaks, and 36 year old parts. The car is being sold as-is and you and your mechanic are welcome to inspect the car before purchase. I am listing this car without reserve in hopes that a true third gen fan can pick up this rare optioned IROC and enjoy it. Nice third gen IROC-Z cars are getting pricey with the "dealerships". Texas car. No rust issues. No flooding issues.
This is not a show car. If you are looking for a 9,000 mile show car, keep looking. If you want a car that you can drive and have the option to "restore" to showroom condition, a car that has the rarity to justify the restoration expense, this might be a good option.
The paint is nice, but not perfect. The seats have no rips or tears and are good original condition but they are showing their 36 year age.The top is only two months with a new upgraded latch from Hawks to replace the badly designed original plastic latch. All gauges work.Starts/runs/shifts smoothly. No driving issues that I am aware of.New brakes and rotars.New hood struts and trunk struts. The a/c blows but not cold. It has not been recharged in a couple of years. The radio does not work. I don't know if the speakers work or not.
If you don't understand how "rare" a G92 IROC Z, 5-speed convertible is, you should do a quick google search. While there are no hard numbers from GM, some feel this rare option combo may only have been produced less than 100 times out of the 1000's of Camaro's sold.
I drive this car very little and usually only a few miles at a time to a "cars n coffee" type event. Upon sale of vehicle, I will be keeping the licence plate and would recommend you trailer the car home until you get the proper registration.
I have nothing to hide and welcome your inquires and inspections. With no reserve, I am expecting this car to sell.$500 deposit due within 48 hours. Balance by cash or wire to my bank. Car does not leave until funds clear my bank.
Not original: Exhaust, Tires, Shocks, Brakes, carpet, convertible top
