1957 Chevy 210 Sedan, 235 Inline Six, Only 33K Original Miles,

This amazing 1957 Chevy 210 is truly a original classic survivor. This is a 2 owner car, purchased new in 1957, at Grain Valley Missouri. The second owner purchased it in 1961 at the same dealer that sold it new. Him and his wife always kept it in their shop, and only drove it on nice days. He told me that the car has never been out in the rain since he bought it in 1961. However not sure about the first owner. I have known about this car since 2007, and he would not sell it. His wife past away in 2006 and he never drove it again. He just left it in the shop, and the roofleaked and caused all the patina surface rust that is in the pictures. This 57 Chevy is absolutely amazing, with all its original parts and original paint, interior and the trunk. When I got the car it overheated and blew the head gasket. Took the head off and sent it in had it looked at and had him redo all the valves and whatever they do. The head was perfect. Well since I had everything off, at that point I Took everything out of the engine compartment, and redid everything that was attached was taken out and refurbished by hand. Every nut, bold, washer, screw, gas lines, cooler lines, brake lines, all cleaned and wire brushed and I put everything back in its proper place. 99.9% of this car and its parts are 65 years old and all parts look absolutely perfect. The engine compartment and engine was painted back to its original factory colors. All the decals have been put back in their proper place as well. I wanted everything to look like it did when it came out of the factory. Replaced the battery, points condenser distributor cap plugs plug wires, hoses, belt, water pump and thermostat. Oil pan gasket’s, and all gaskets, carburetor has been cleaned and set right. The original radiator has been rebuilt and works as it should. It’s all new. This 235 inline six looks great and runs great as well. Starts and runs as it should. The original factory two speed automatic transmission shifts and works perfect as well. Everything work properly, I made sure of that. Like the headlights bright and Dim, turn signals, front and rear, brake lights, license plate light, interior light, glove box light, and floor lights too. Ash trays have never been used, they look brand new, horns blow perfect, all the rubber door seals and door jams are all excellent condition. All the glass is original grass that is clear and no fog or bubbles. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in very good condition, however, there is chipping on the front corner of the front bumper, and at some point you might want to re-chrome it. All of the stainless is all in absolute amazing condition. All of the interior looks great with no tears burns or stains. However the rubber flooring is 65 years old and brittle, it’s starting to crack pretty good. That’s something you might want to replace as well. The steering wheel is perfect, with no wear spots or stress cracks, and steer straight down the road with no play in the steering wheel.Gas gauge, temperature gauge, dash lights, and the cigarette lighter looks like it has never been used, but still works perfect, how cool is that. This is a radio delete build, never molested with an aftermarket radio. The trunk is all original never touched and it’s in excellent shape. Original jack and accessories are there as well. The underside of the car has absolutely zero rust, I guarantee it. The whole underside of the vehicle was under coded with heavy duty entry coding back in the 50s when it was new. It has newer exhaust, however the tailpipe has a few little holes, you might want to replace that too. But it’s not that bad. However, the tires, not so sure about them. If you buy the car and want to drive it home, which I know you can if you really want to, it runs that good. But I would replace the tires. The spare amperes to be original and looks to be a bias tire from the 50’s and 60’s. Hubcaps are all original and in very good condition. The original stainless windshield wipers. I can email more pictures if needed. I’ll answer any questions you might have. If you’re looking for the real deal all original and ready to drive, well you just found it. I require $1000 deposit through PayPal within 24 hours. The balance in cash, wire transfer, or cashiers check. All funds must be completed and clearedbefore you get the car and title. I have sold many classic cars here on Carter’s Classics, and I must say, this is one of the nicer ones. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you and happy bidding.
