Description:
1965 Chevrolet El Camino
Great running and driving El Camino. Assembled in Fremont, CA, this 65 is the Custom model, built with a 327 and manual transmission. Truck was originally painted the K code Artesian Turquoise from the factory. Currentlyrunning a 350 crate engine. Solid, rust free truck, very clean undercarriage. Older paint beginning to show its age, but still looks great. Truck bed is near perfect, no rust, dings, or dents. Nice stock interior with split bench, glass, and bright work. All instruments and gauges work except the clock and horn. New clutch pack, battery, brake booster, starter, front brake wheel cylinders, and idler arm.Guys have asked if this would be a good interstate cruiser, short answer is no. With a Muncie 4 speed and 3.73 rear gears, this car is not built to cruise at 80 mph, but more for ripping around town. Thanks for looking, MikeSB 350 Chevy engineHEI DistributerFlowmaster exhaustIron exhaust manifoldsMuncie four speed10 bolt Posi rear diff 3.73:1Power drum brakesFactory stock suspensionChevy Rally wheelsMastercraft 225/70R15 tiresSpare tire, jack, and lug wrenchNPD fitted truck coverVehicle Details:
