1967 Chevrolet Nova SS Hardtop

Here is a really nice example of a 1967 Nova SS. It is a true 118, actory 4-speed car. As described below, he car is not numbers matching, ut is still a beautiful example of a 2nd generation Nova.

Some highlights:
-Very nice driving car, as good power and responds well.
-Healthy 327 V8 engine with correct snowflake intake. Block has casting # 3791362, asting date of A-19-7 and #’s stamped are V0303ZA. Heads are different that the camel hump heads and the exhaust manifold was swapped by prior owners to headers.
-12-bolt posi rear end
-Muncie 4-speed transmission
-Most of the interior is original (headliner and door panels was replaced by previous owners)
-Originally a butternut yellow car, ainted in 1990's-early 2000's in a GM Light Drift Sand Metallic; the paint shows very well but has a few minor flaws
-Very nice SS truck panel; some pitting but still a very nice original compared to others out there.-Drum brakes
-Car has won multiple awards, ncluding awards from Ironstone Concours D’Elegance (Award of Merit) and Pismo Beach Classic reported by the previous owner; 2010, 011, 012, 013 and 2014 People’s 25 Award from NNN West Coast Mini-Nats/NCN Reunion
-No evidence of panel replacement or other accidents. There was a small amount of surface flash rust was found under the passenger front carpet and treated with POR 15 (see pics)
-Dual snorkel air cleaner, n the L-79 style, ooks very nice in the engine bay (note that this is NOT an L79 car, or is the air cleaner technically correct for the year/engine)

-Comes with an extra set of 14” rally rims
-Drum brakes all-around; stops very well.
-Previous owner replaced clutch and rear diff to posi unit (old diff will be included)

-Reggie Jackson owned the car from 1980’s (89 from the date on the title) to 1996, old to someone in Arizona, nd then sold back to California in approximately 1997 to the last owner. I purchased it in 2010.
Things I have done to the car since 2010:
-Installed a flex fan and radiator shroud to improve cooling, urrently using a 195* t-stat
-Had the original AM radio redone by Tayman Electric to a functional AM/FM radio with aux input, tation selector buttons still work
-Installed a 1-wire Powermaster alternator; stock voltage regulator still present in the engine bay for appearances (old alternator included)
-Installed an H-pipe to balance the exhaust
-General maintenance, ecent alignment, tc.; Only driven about 1,800 miles since I picked up the car in 2010
