1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS

Body off frame restored. Has GM crate 502 motor, rebuilt suspension, upgraded brakes and rear end. Ready to rock n roll!
EXTERIOR: The body looks really clean. It is absolutely straight, even down along the bottom it reflects the ground like a mirror. New full Quarter panels and fenders. It has no vinyl top, all sexy red paint. It is slick to the touch, you cant feel the stripe. It does have a cowl hood and spoilers. Up front the bumper and emblem look new. The marker lights, emblems, trim on top of the doors, door handles, mirrors are new. The stainless around the windows are very nice. In back the bumper, tail lights and SS gas cap are new. It has 15 inch rally wheels with new trim. BF Goodrich tires, a little bit wider in back. New windshield and rear window. The jambs are painted nicely. The weather strips, window fuzzies and sill plates were replaced.
INTERIOR: It has the factory gauges and tachometer, they all work including the clock. It's restored with new carpet, upholstery, door panels front and back, new headliner, visors, mirror, dash, chrome vents, deluxe steering wheel and new center console. It has GM seat belts front and back. The trim around the back window, speaker shelf are new. It has a retro stereo with 6x9 speakers.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a GM crate 502, the tag is riveted to the block. It features forged steel crank, forged aluminum pistons, forged steel I-beam rods and 4 bolt mains. It has GM aluminum heads and intake. On top is a big dual feed Holley carb with electric choke and an HEI ignition system. It has a set of coated long tube headers. It also has billet pulleys with serpentine belt and a polished alternator. It is upgraded with a March billet power steering with remote reservoir, braided stainless hoses, new steering box and coupler. The aluminum water pump, radiator and overflow bottle with a giant electric fan and custom made shroud keeps it cool. New wiper motor, horns and battery. The firewall and under the hood is painted gloss red.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk floor, it has full quarters put on at factory seams. It's been spatter painted. Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted gloss red. New weatherstrip and mat.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the subframe. The frame was powder coated and was reinstalled with new bushings. The front end is completely rebuilt, it has upgraded polyurethane bushings. In back it has new bushings, shocks, springs and lowering blocks. The brake system was completely replaced and upgraded with disc at all four wheels. It has a great sounding Flowmaster exhaust system. The fuel tank, fuel line, straps and sending unit were replaced. The bottom of the motor looks new. It has a high torque starter. The Turbo 400 automatic looks fresh, has chrome pan and polyurethane mount. It has a Currie Ford 9 inch rear. No rust, the floors are all metal and sealed with red bed liner.
I drove this home last night. It is a strong runner! It functions real well. It was cold and dark- the heat, lights, dash lights and the stereo worked. Someone is going to have fun with this one.
