1972 Chevrolet Nova Brother to Chevelle Super Sport, Muncie, Posi, Survivor

1972 Nova RallyOriginal Paint Survivor!High Performance Small Block4 Speed Muncie Transmission9" Rear EndThis Nova sits in a fun place. It still wears its original paint, complete with the obvious Patina, but has been fitted with a reported 383 cubic inch stroked small block, nice cam, 4 speed, 9" Posi and 2 big ol' Holley carbs sitting on a Tunnel Ram intake manifold. It is loud & obnoxious but does carry the pedigree of an Original Paint Nova Rally. This car really does have a ton of attitude. If you have nosy neighbors, this car could be the cure...or the last straw. The rolling stock consists of some poor Corvette's 15" Rally Wheels along with some brand new BF Goodrich T/A's.The body does have the obvious rust bubbles but the floors & trunk are quite solid. The pics tell the story, but keep in mind this paint is original and48 years old.The engine is reported to be a 383 and does run quite respectably. We received no documents/invoices/specs on the engine build with the car. The dual 4's work nicely and it is very cool to watch them work from the pilot's seat. The 255 BFG's go up in smoke readily and this car can get with it when coaxed. The 4 speed works nicely and the 9" rear end gives you the piece of mind you need to drive this car to its potential. The interior appears to be wearing most of its original pieces. The carpet is worn, the seats have splits, the headliner seam stitching is coming apart. That is part of the charm with this one though. It can be enjoyed as is and you know you have a solid base if you should decide to restore/restomod this one later. For Transport we recommend Mike's Discount Auto Transport.
