1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Custom

Iconic on the outside, custom on the inside, and a nitrous-powered big block under the hood - you might have already fallen in love at first sight with this 1957 Chevrolet 150 post coupe, but it only gets better the deeper you dig.

The exterior is all about the second glance. Because at first sight, you're going to love viewing at the most iconic shape from the Tri-Five Chevy era. It looks fantastic in creamy yellow and dark black two-tone. And all the brightwork has a 10,000-watt smile on the hallmark grille, side trim that divides the two colors, and the intricate rear bumper. But then you start to notice some far more aggressive touches, like the big exhaust tips and lowered suspension with modern alloys and an intimidating 17/18-inch front/rear stance. It makes this sleek Chevy quite a bit more beastly.

Inside, your first glance just sees a thoughtful amount of work for a cool custom interior. The exterior two-tone continues inside with modern leather bucket seats, custom door panels, headliner, and plush carpeting all finished in black. The yellow returns on the dash, and the custom steering wheel combines the two. It's the kind of uniform appearance that will get accolades all on its own. Plus, there's a cool upgrade with a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner that connects to a full subwoofer stereo system. But then you see the auxiliary gauges, the big tach mounted high on the dash, racing lap belts, and the B&M ratchet shifter. It all lets you know there is a lot of power waiting to be unleashed.

Your first impression when you open the hood is that they made a nice investment in style. After all, the black inner walls of the engine bay go with the block that's specially painted to match the car to continue that very cool two-tone theme. Plus, there was a solid investment in shining components to cap off an award-worthy presentation. And beyond the style is some serious substance. This is a 454 cubic-inch big block V8 enhanced with 11.5:1 compression, a hydraulic cam, upgraded heads, Edelbrock intake, Sanderson shorty headers, exhaust cutouts (to really bring the thunder,) and topped off with a freshly rebuilt Holley 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor. You even have the right supporting components, like a BeCool aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans, MSD ignition, a serpentine belt system, and the battery moved to the rear for better weight distribution. And while you're checking that out in the trunk, you'll also spot the NOS bottle. Oh yes, this monster big block really get a powerful mixture whenever you want just by releasing the nitrous! Getting all this power to the streets is a stout TH400 three-speed automatic with 2500 stall. That feeds a Detroit Locker Dana 60 rear end with Dutchman axles and 4.56 gears for quick and hardy take-offs. There's modern Goodyear sport tires to keep sticky rubber on the pavement. Plus, the front suspension has upgraded A-arms, power steering, and power brakes with front discs to keep it all in control.

This is a cool custom where there have big investments in both power and presence. That makes for an awesome street machine you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!
