1973 Camaro . in its Factory Medium Red w/Black Stripes - This is a Texas Car believed to be a 2 owners Survivor Car wearing its original badging! The interior is in excellent condition with. The underside and frame of the vehicle is very clean/solid. The vehicle does have some surface rust to where the paint is has flaked off to where you can see metal, but nothing major and no rot. The body is all sheet metal and very straight and no signs of body fillersee pictures. Enjoy this car as is or give it a high end paint job!
Engine is Matching #s (see pic of stamp & Title )Runs very strongand stays cool (see link to videos). I was told motor was rebuilt at 100K miles - The motor has New Holley 600 Carb, an aluminum intake, New Wires, New Plugs, Fresh Oil - Aluminum Intake, Speed Pro Pistons, andheaders with magnaflow exhaust system.Personally I've taken this vehicle out on the expressway and put over 40 miles on it. Drives very straight/tight with its freshly greased front end and most importantly maintained its idle & stayed cool.The engine bay in its entirety is virtually unmolested with no holes in firewall or wells. The Turbo-Hydromantic 400 trans shifts smoothly as it should. The 10 bold posi rear end is code correct and coded with a 3.73:1 Detroit Gear and Axle carrier consistentwith the RPO Z/28 power train specs for 1973.
This is a Factory AC car with Power Windows this was 1 of 217 Camaros made with both options in 73. AC & Heat Both operational, but the AC could use some attention. All gauges work except clock, radio works, all lights, headlights, tail lights and interior dash lights all work as well. Stereo works has cassette player, but unsure if that works (no tapes to test). Pwr windows go up and down with ease - I would guess the window regulator an motor assembly were replaced due to how well they go up and down.
