1950 Chevrolet Other

This is a very nice 2014 restoration of a California Chevy Fleetline Fastback. Originally from California then it went to Arizona and then to me. It has 97500 original miles on it.
Body: Very nice and very straight. Paint is a 2014 Toyota color called Clearwater Blue. The paint is a base coat clear coat. It is not perfect, but very nice. There are a few minor imperfections, and one area about the size of a golf ball on the hood next to the hood ornament that looks like the clear coat has orange peel. There is a picture of it in the pictures. Hard to see unless you catch it in the right light. The car was taken completely apart before being painted so there are no signs of it ever being a different color. All new weather stripping. All glass is excellent. All chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. The rockers, in side and outside, and a few of the outside body mounts have been replaced. Very good job. The rest of the body and floor pans appear to have been always rust free. The trunk latch is missing the lock cylinder. This car shows very well but is not a Barrett Jackson show car.
Driveline: It is all original except for being converted to 12 volt. It runs out real nice. Steers and stops straight. No rattles shimmy, etc. No information if the engine was rebuilt, but it sounds fine. Smokes al little when first started up. Transmission shifts great. No noises in it either, or in the rear end. Tires are new 215/60R17s with new Cragar 17" wheels. It has a new fuel tank.
Interior: Super nice and I mean super duper nice. A lot of money was spent on a complete custom interior. No flaws anywhere and a color that compliments the exterior color perfectly. All gauges work. Speedometer works. The heater is not hooked up, but looks like it will be OK. The wipers do not work. Radio delete car. No cracks in steering wheel.
I do not have the original wheels or a spare tire.
This is a very nice cruise car that may not get you where you are going quickly, but it will get you there and back with no issues. Those old 216 in line 6 cylinders just did not have much power compared to todays cars.
