Exterior...

The appearance of this Supercharged C1500 is undboubtedly one of the most distinct features of this driver quality hotrod. The overall lowered, muscular style creates the feeling of raw power and speed that it was intended to convey. The custom Red paint comes with Gun Metal flake accented racing stripes across the hood. The Chevy chrome ring rims shine brightly. The paint has a few imperfections, but nothing that damages the overall condition of the truck. The doors open and close with ease, and body edges are aligned well.

Preparations...

Upon acquisition of a Pro-Street truck of this calibre, our intial steps of preparation for market are through a visual and mechanical inspection. When it first arrived, This C1500 went through our service department where our technicians performed a thorough mechanical inspection and standard service. The carburetor was properly adjusted for maximum performance, and the driveline was adjusted to prevent binding. The front bumper and bracket was crooked, so both brackets and the bumper were replaced with factory original replacements.

Test Drive...

The drive in this Supercharged C1500 is simply exhilerating. From the moment you turn the key, the truck bellows with power. The steering feels tight and solid. The side-out exhaust augments the performance with a loud, crisp rumble. As you put it in to gear, you feel the performance transmission clunk in to gear and the car stance changes before you even take your foot off the brake. As you hit the gas, you are relentlessly pulled in to your seat. The combination of wide tires and a long bed have this truck pulling straight as an arrow. This truck roars with dominance everywhere it goes.

This truck was carefully and thoroughly detailed. During this detailing process, the interior is inspected for functionality and quality. There are absolutely no rips or tears in the seat. The dash in in pristine condition. There is an auxilary tachometer and water temperature guage mounted behind the cowl hood, only visible from inside the cabin. All of the guages, including the auxilary guages, work flawlessly. There is a switch on the dash to shift between both gas tanks in the truck as well. An aftermarket Stereo was installed on a custom center console addition just in front of the seat and is connected to a 12" sub and speakers mounted behind the seat. The sound system is currently not hooked up as to prevent draining the battery. Once the detailing process was completed, this truck became ready for market.

The interior in this C1500 is excellent. There are minimal signs of wear and tear all throughout. The custom Vinyl/cloth combo bench seat is in pristine condition. The dash is in immaculate condition. The woodgrain surrounding the guages is like new, and the chrome shows minimal signs of wear. All of the guages are fully functional.

This C1500 was put on the lift and the undercarriage was powerwashed. This frees the vehicle of any grime and debris to help reveal forseeable issues. As an exceptionally well built truck, the underside of this C1500 is just that-exceptional. There are professional custom mounts for the inner-adjusted leafsprings to make room for the beefy rear tires. There are Toxic shocks all around on the suspension, aftermarket high performance fuel pumps for both fuel tanks and a CSI racing starter.

All in all, this Pro-Street 1974 Chevrolet C1500 is a turn-key truck ready to hit the road or track. I am a “used car dealer” but before that, I’m an automobile enthusiast. I love original, rare and high quality modified vintage and modern cars. Over the past 15 years I’ve been in business, I have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles as well. I specialize in and I am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners.
I have an experienced eye for quality and I’ve discovered that my preferred buyers can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer. Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the buyer, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won’t do much for you either and I would soon be out of business.

With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a “dealership” like mine may be at a first glance. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner. First we do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and hope nothing escapes our methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly “right” will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about Collector's Dream Cars. Moreover, it allows us to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless we think it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction so you don’t get a headache over the vehicle.

After the vehicle is fully checked over and made whole at any level it needs to be, we researches its history, documents, documenting originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications, and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 200 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I’ve developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several days as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. We do Way more than just a cheap detail. Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles.

Usually, I’ll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it’s a fast car, we film it going fast. If it’s a 4x4 you’ll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operation as well.

No “dealer,” on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase that my vehicle is for real and what I say is an honest assessment. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay.
