1971 Chevrolet El Camino

I'm listing this car for my uncle who lives in the Santa Cruz area. I drove it back here to Fresno with no problems, about 140 miles. It runs down the freeway great, steers and stops well with lots of power. No leaks anywhere, no smoke. He has a bunch of money invested in this car but he rarely drove it so he asked me to sell it for him. The previous owner did the majority of the work and said he had over $20k in upgrades alone. It's a beautiful car but for some reason the paint has cracked in several areas. I tried to get pictures but it's difficult with gloss black. There's also some light surface rust in the bed, nothing major, and a couple of the rims have some rust around the lip as well. The climate on the coast is most likely why. The rest of the chrome on the car is excellent.
Here's a list of what's been done to the car:
350 V8 (rebuilt)700R4 4-speed transmission with shift kit and cooler
2.76 rear end gears (shifts to 4th at about 60mph)Front and rear bumpersAMD cowl hood and hingesSteering wheelDoor panelsDoor sealsLightsNew bushings/alignmentGaylord bed coverDash padAftermarket stereo systemProcar leather seatsB&M Quicksilver ratchet shifterDual Flowmaster exhaustEdelbrock manifold with Fuel Injection2.5" lowering kitCorvette rally wheels
BFG tires
The car was done several years ago but it still looks nice. Even though it has some bad spots, the paint shines beautifully. A brand new headliner was installed a few days ago. It has an aftermarket heater that probably cost a bunch to install but can easily be removed. Some things I've noticed since driving it is the starter lags when it's warm, cranks slow but starts. The oil "dummy" light flickers now and again but it has a set of aftermarket gauges which show the oil pressure is fine. The temp and fuel gauge are also aftermarket and work fine.
Overall it's a nice car that I would personally drive as-is. The tags were just renewed for another year this month so it's good to go. If you have any questions or you would like to see the car, please let me know. Thanks!
