1951 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500

.1951 chevy coe hotrod/shoptruck....we built this to use as a everyday shop truck, usual trips to the parts store and a regular trip to our sandblasters pulling a 16 foot car hauling trailer...it has worked out GREAT and for the last year we have driven it almost daily...we used 1980 chevy halfton front and rear suspension on the original coe frame...transfered entire front suspension cradle and rear end mounts...keeping original front end geometry and makes it easy to find replacement parts..{1980 chevy half ton}...all new suspension..all tre's ball joints/bushings drag link idler arm wheel bearings shocks etc.etc installed new..new front springs and bell 2 inch dropped spindles...rear end {3.40 gearing} got new axle bearings and seals, new drive shaft and joints..rear shocks and lowering shackles....i reused ring and pinion but replaced spider gears and carrier bearings..limited slip diff....new wheels and tires/ nice street radials...these are less than a month old// ididit steering column and joints..new 3 core aluminum radiator belts hoses etc..NO cooling issues at all...can idle in traffic in summer temps with no problem...has nice reciever hitch and a VERY loud train horn....REALLY loud...4 trumpet setup with its own compressor and air tank.....REALLY LOUD!!lol...all electrical was installed new..high quality 21 circuit ...custom cab lighting and a really unique set of taillights made from gm fuel pumps and '59 cadillac lenses...blue dots and lotsa led's....has heat and defrost ..all lights/turn signals work as they should......all electric quad gages..very nice setup..turbo 350 trans, 250 cid 6 cylinder engine...we went with this combo because it is what we had..ended up working so well we installed a new long bloc, ,,complete rebuild..block machined, bored .030 crank turned 10/10 rotating assembly balanced ..resized rods and new performance rod bolts...new valves/springs/lock/retainers/cam lifters...all comp..cam profiled for torque/fuel milage...sounds like a v8 on the open exhaust..performance melling oil pump and assembled with new carb/hei dist/starter/60amp alt/powersteering pump and flywheel...runs great pulls great and will do 20+mpg !!......now the motor mounts we used share the same mounting as sbc v8, along with the bellhousing mount/location...point being ya can bolt a v8 right in...that was our intention when we first built it with the 6 cylinder...worked so well we just went back with the new 6cylinder...SOLID cab..aggressive chop no body work all seams show..new glass/window regs. door felts and door handles..doors fit well and open/close as they should..stake bed with tie downs...wheelbase is set up for a 3/4 ton 47/53 truck bed if you wanted to go that way..stake bed worked best for the shop....built to be a no hassle ride..and has been!...got a new shop project and am trying to fund it..wish we could keep 'em all!! sigh..starts well runs great no issue ride........fear not have perfect feedback for a reason..CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME....require a 500.00 dollar non refundable paypal deposit at auction end..full payment 7 days after auction unless other arrangements have been made directly with me...we can accomadate your shippers shcedule or depending on schedule and distance may be able to deliver for milage..or of course we can assist with loading on your trailer...we build a lot of these things..this one will be missed..check us out on our f/b page Eds Hot Rod Shop feel free to call us in the shop...reserve set really low...somebody is gonna get a deal!! .......sorry, shop number 501-504-4423.......also been asked a few times, the truck is clearcoated with 2k urethane...and yes it is very comfortable to drive...easy to see out windshield..sits very well...have made several 3 hour trips..doc's office is 90 minutes one way.....pedals feel natural..again..no issues..i am nearly 6 ft..Karen is like 5 and a bit??!...lol..........we both are comfortable drivin' this thing............thankx
