1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air sedan has a great two-tone appearance, a ton of originality, and a period-correct V8. So when something this distinct is also so affordable, then it's a deal worth digging into deeper. Survivor-grade is not a term that can be taken lightly. The market is heating up for cars that have possibly gone untouched for decades. That's why this one is so intriguing. The two-tone India Ivory and Harvest Gold is not only factory-correct, but it's also suspected to be the same application from the St. Louis factory over 60 years ago. So while it cannot be confirmed at this time, it certainly has that cool worn-in look that will have onlookers talking about a survivor Bel Air. But it takes much more than the paint to be a respected elder. The body panels are complete, and they still hang with the kind of precision that allows the full side trim to flow across the doors in an almost seamless fashion. In fact, speaking of the brightwork trim, this one has everything complete â€" from the wide grille, to the wraparound chrome bumpers, to the jet-inspired hood ornament. Even the correct factory wheel covers are in place, drawing even more attention to the whitewall tires. Inside, the survivor-grade presentation continues with the factory-correct green interior. The seats carry that cool '50s design and have comfortable cloth inserts. This is far from perfect, but the door panels, headliner, and carpeting will once again have people talking about your car's history. In fact, dig in to how complete this presentation is. You get the artful factory steering wheel, and beyond that is the dual cowl dash that had a design shared with the Corvette. The correct AM radio is still in the dash, and it's still cranking out tunes! Even the trunk looks like a time capsule with correct jack and a color-matched full-sized spare on a bias-ply tire. Part of what makes these cars a legend is that 1955 was the first production year for the small block V8. The only optional eight-cylinder in this inaugural year was the 265 cubic-inch motor, and so when you open the hood, it's great to see this now-legendary V8 looking so authentic. In fact, it's even believed the V8 is original to the car! While the excellent presentation of the bold orange paint and correct air topper will have people impressed at the shows, the newer belts, hoses, and battery tell you this is still a driver. In fact, the way this one fires up will remind you of the durability of the mighty small block. And the Powerglide automatic transmission makes it even more convenient to show off this time capsule everywhere. When rolling V8 history like this is so obtainable, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!Vehicle Details:
