****CLEAN/CLEAR OKLAHOMA TITLE****
Very cool 1955.1 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. This is the First series 1955, it is the transitional pickup with the 1954 styling cues and the updated driveline like the Second series 1955 pickups that changed looks. This truck is in pretty nice shape, it does have some rust and dents/dings it isn't perfect but great for a builder. Has a great patina. The original color was the turquoise green color, at some point it was painted blue over that and then someone added red/dark gray to it also. The red on the cab/door is very flaky and I think it would come off it was power washed or if it were scrubbed with a scotchbrite. The cab corners have rust and they'll need replaced, some rust in floors, and some small pins holes at the back of the cab near the floor. The frame has some rust in the crossmember in front of the rear springs, mostly on the gussets but there is some on the rails. Shouldn't be too hard to replace that. Someone has pulled the original motor/trans, but the original rearend is still intact. The hood latch panel was pull I assume when the radiator was pulled but it is included with the truck. Truck is really complete and only missing the seat, glove box and ashtray. The passenger door handle was twisted off, as the latch was stuck, but I freed up the latch and the passenger and driver doors both latch easily. There is some rust in the front cab floor boards/kick panels, they were repaired at one time but they'll need a better repair. A beefed up bumper was welded to the rear frame horns and the boogered it in there, so it should come off easily and I also have the original white rear bumper to match the white front bumper, same patina. The front windshield was removed at one time and siliconed back in I left it so that it wouldn't be open. Probably all the glass needs replaced along with seals and what not depending on the level of restoration or rat rod you choose. The wheels are stock wheels with roller tires and new tubes, stock hubcaps to set it off a little. Bed is just sitting on the frame but I will bolt it down before it is transported. The rear tailgate has a small amount of rust in it as well, but matching blue patina. Pickup steers but no brakes.
