Description:

1972 Chevrolet Nova

This is a 1972 chevy nova being sold at NO RESERVE!
The car has new seats in front, new covers in rear, new door panels on the doors, new carpet, new headliner, new kick plates, new door seals and trunk seal, new door locks and trunk lock.
Chevy small bloc, 4 barrel quadrajet carburetor, H.E.I. distributor, with new motor mounts, harmonic balancer, timing chain, freeze plugs, lighter flywheel than stock, pressure plate, pilot bearing, new oil pan gasket, andvalve cover gaskets, new spark plugs and wires as well. The bearing caps were pulled off for inspection of the crankshaft and bearings when the oil pan was removed,Everything looked good, so it was all buttoned back up.Valve lash was checked when valve cover gaskets were replaced. The inside of the engine looked very clean andwell maintained! All the work was done as preventative maintenance.I believe it has a small cam in it since it has good power, but not verified. It has full dual exhaust with new glasspack mufflers, new high torque Minnie starter.
Engine sounds good! Just installed new triple gauges, good oil pressure and water temp. Alternator is working as well.New battery a couple months ago. Just put in new gm coolant made for the newer aluminum radiator.
The transmission is a tremec T5, it has a new master and slave cylinder, as well as new hoses. This is a modern, hydraulically operated 5 speed with overdrive, much easier on the leg than the old z-bar set up!It shifts through the gears nicely!Unknown gears in gm 10 bolt rear end.
Car has good, functioning brakes, new chrome power brake booster. Car also has air shocks, which can raise/lower the rear of the car.
It looks like the ball joints and sway bar bushings are relatively new.Car has a new gas tank and fuel lines.Trunk floor is solid, all the floor pans are solid. The tags expired I believe in the 1990's, so assume it had been sitting all those years. It is now a functioning car again, although it has not been driven very far, or very fast. So,as one can see, lots of work has been put into this car to make it a good "driver" car.The car will probably need some finishing/adjusting.
It is not a show car, imperfections in the paint and body, surface scratches, minor chips/dings etc.It is NOT a new camaro! Having said that, I believe this will be a good, solid, fun car to own and tinker with. You are welcome to ask questions, or set up a time to come see the car, I will do my best to accommodate you.Deposit of $500 is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable, only bid what you will pay for the car,do NOT bid if you are not serious! You are bidding to OWN the car, not the right of first refusal. Thanks for looking!
