This is your chance to own, build or restore a super rare truck. It deserves to be restored and that's why I am selling it.
It drives like a used and non rebuilt 1967 truck. But that in its self is fun to me. It starts right up. Idles nice. No power steering or brakes. Steering is on the loose side of course. All the gauges work. It stops decent. Doesn't over heat. The rear main seal is leaking as usual. I wouldn't plan on driving it across country but across town or whatever is fine. It is not the original motor and the prior owner (PO) did not have it anymore. It is a 350 from my understanding but I never checked. always has good oil preasure. It shifts fine and the clutch grabs towards the top. I have never tried the 4X4 but everything is there and hooked up. The only non-original part of the drive line is the motor. Tire are like new.
The body is in need of some work if you are going to make this a show truck. The usual stuff for these trucks. The PO did his own cab corners and rockers. So they need to be done again correctly see pictures. Rust bubbles are starting at the bottom of the doors a few places on the bed side and fenders. Nothing is really rusted through so you can catch it all early. The floors are solid except on small part of the driver's side (just some minor cracks). One support piece on each side needs to be replaced see the pictures with the dollar bills. It's not the best quality paint job at all but it's better than it being all rusted. All the body panels appear to be original except the tailgate and the panel patches on the rocker and cab corners. Otherwise this is a solid start compared to what I have seen as far as rust on old chevy trucks. Frame is super solid.
The interior is need of some help if your want it perfect. Not a quality job of paint or carpet but not the worst I have ever seen either. Just needs to be redone or just leave and drive. Unfortunately some idiot put in an aftermarket stereo. I'm glad you can get the piece from lmc truck to fix it.Seat does have some rips that why the cover. I can't stand the shifter someone put on. The windshield is cracked.
I know it sounds like I'm being hard on this truck. I really want you to know what you are getting. Its a super rare truck and as far as building vehicles go ...its super simple. Parts are plentiful.
Clean Nevada title in hand.
I have some new parts for it......window cranks, fan shroud, gas pedal, lock and ignition key set and heater core. All in the box still.
