Jack McDonald, his famous 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible he named Peas and Carrots brought him the American Championship in 1977. Jack McDonald became the top winner / driver of the Sports Car Club of America in the 1960's and 1970's after becoming the BP Champion in 1975, 1976 and 1977 American Champion. Jack McDonald has a Chrome Bull Dog on the front nose of the Corvette that you can see in the posted pictures, that was one of his trademarks when he raced.I have owned this 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Vintage Solo 2 Racer for many years. The Corvette is still in very good shape and all original from back in it's race days. The only thing that was changed was the tires and rims, that's all. Still has it's original paint when it raced back in the day, the Famous Peas and Carrots paint. The paint still looks pretty good, shows it's old patina. The Corvette looks like it was never wrecked through it's life. All the floors, frame and body look to be in great shape and a very solid rust free car. This was an original Black Plate California Corvette. I have a original picture from back in the day when it was in California and all original before it became a Famous race car. This Corvette has always been stored inside and well taken care of it's whole life. Has 33,994 original miles. Has a clean Arizona title. Still has the original vin numbers and trim plate under the glove box that were never touched.
The 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - Vintage Solo 2 Race Car comes with a lot of racing history and other documents along with the original plaques on the dash you can see in the posted pictures. Also has the original white vintage cockpit cover. You can also see some of the documents in the detailed posed pictures.

It still has the 1970 350 L46 motor that was built and raced back in the day. Has it's factory Muncie 4spd with 4:11 gears. The motor has a lot of horsepower, runs and drives extremely good.
