ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THESE BISCAYNE 2 DOOR CARS THAT ARE NOT TOTALLY RUSTED. THIS ONE IS A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR A RESTORATION.
I am selling a 1965 Biscayne. I bought it several years ago to build a L-78 396 425 HP 4 speed tribute. (I have a rebuilt genuine factory 1965 L-78 396 425HP engine that is also for sale separately in another ad). Car is a 6 cylinder with 85K. Its a really cool car as it is but its dreaming of getting a BIG BLOCK transplant. The previous owner had an amateur body and paint job done on it nearly 20 years ago. There is some rust but this car is amazingly rust free for the year. The floor and trunk are solid, I believe under the paint its solid as well. The exterior was painted with a non factory color but the door jambs still have the original paint. Needs complete interior and the body needs redone to have a beautiful rare Chevy Classic. It originally had a 2 speed powerglide and the previous owner installed a saginaw 4 speed. IT STARTS, RUNS, DRIVES AND STOPS FINE. I had the brakes done when i got it so i could easily move it around. The exhaust is quiet. It wouldn't take much to pass PA state inspection. I hate to sell this car. These pics make the car look better than it really is but its a great start for a restoration project. I have the moldings that are not shown in pictures. I reserve the right to end ad early because i have item advertised locally.
