1971 Chevrolet C10 Custom. PS/PB/AC This truck still wears it's original paint and has 53,000 miles from new!Firewall still has factory chalk marks on it! Original dealership stickers and disc brake decal are still intact.Floors are perfect underneath the mats. Doors/jams/rockers/cab corners/rain gutters, bed, tailgate,everything on this is truck is solid with absolutely no rust. Only damage ever wasdrivers side front fender replaced back in the 70's bydealer andjust beside the driversside tail light is a dent so small it isn't worth fixing. (see pic) Interior is super nice with the original seat cover, and the passenger side seat belts are still in the plastic cover from the factory!Look inside the bed and you can tell it was never really used as a truck.Exterior was so clean and original it was left alone for the Frame off restoration of the original running gear. New everything underneath! Brakes, wheel bearings, shocks, bushings, U joints, exhaust, (w/Flowmaster mufflers). New rear end w/342 gear.
The original motor was built to the same specs as an Edelbrock 450 hp crate motor. Edelbrock aluminum heads. Crane cam and Roller rockers,Newchrome 780 dual line holley carb. Be Cool radiator with dual fans that are thermostatically controlled. Converted to single serpentine belt drive for accessories. Custom AC lines are being made and will be included. Transmission also rebuilt with stall converter and shift kit. Painless wiring harness sends information to Auto Meter II gauges in original dash locations.
I have receipts for over 25k that has been spent on this thing during rebuild.
