Description:

1973 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Super

My dad bought the truck new in '73 and gave it to me for high school graduation in 1988. In the early 90's together we basically did an on frame restoration at about 120k miles. New fenders & doors (from Chevy dealership), bed (off 1983 notice the fuel doors) eliminating the rust areas these trucks were noted for. Also had local speed shop rebuild engine w/ mild cam, new exhaust w/ flowmaster mufflers, put current wheels on it, and new headliner (now coming loose again in spots), new carpet and reupholstered bench seat. Repainted to original factory color code at same time (there are few small places clear coat and/or paint has chips since) but paint shines nice and would really pop with a buffing I just haven't had the time. Has original quadra-jet carburetor, chrome valve covers/air cleaner, and powder coated headers but does need good cleaning under hood for sure. Also was ordered/equipped with heavy duty brakes and suspension options.
Never smoked in. Always had premium gas only run it. The mileage is original and correct. Was not ordered with A/C and does not have A/C. The roll bar is only bolted to bed for looks. Tonneau cover is in great shape has small area about 6 inches of stitching frayed, cover can easily be removed for hauling. Has a transmissioncooler and uhaul installed hitch (not reese style). Only towing done was uhaul trailer few times during moves. Gas gauge occasionally sticks probably the float. Has disc front brakes original equipment. Had a sticking caliper replaced last year and brake light on dash has come on and gone off couple times since, so they prob just didnt get all air bled out. Truck could hit the road for cross country trip today and I wouldn't hesitate. Of course it is a 45 year old truck thereby it's an as is no warranty offered or implied sell.
Always garaged entire life of truck until last 2 years under carport only. Truck was a daily driver for my dad a few years then a extra vehicle for many, same with me drove it daily several years then just limited/special use for many more. Special truck with special memories just right time to sell so someone else can begin enjoying it. It runs and drives great, just a really fun cool truck that turns heads everywhere it goes.
