A 1969 ChevroletImpalaFactory 396 #'s Matching True Convertible that had been passed down through family since generation's.Recently pulled out of a garage hanger inSouthernCalifornia, the elderly owner who had owned it would take it out mostly on weekends & local car shows always looking for the chance to spark up the conversation about hisImpala & how it's been in his family history. Up until recentyears the Chevrolet had mostly just been collecting dust, it was decided to finally sell it & let someoneelse enjoy it.

1969 Chevrolet Impala | Factory Convertible | #'s Matching 396/265 HP

Factory colorcombination is Garnet Red - Paint code 52 / Red interior. An older repaint to Candy Red, an older restoration that still shows in a nice driverquality condition. Paint appearing nice & presentable for itsage with theexception closer upyou'll see some minor blemishes as in minor chips & ect. Trim / chrome appearing in nice shape, interior was redone & shows offwell. Power convertible top works fine, the top is older & could use a good cleaning to be more presentable. For most part everything seems to be working. Some SS badging's had been added in the mid 2000's. This Chevrolet is very solid including the jambs, trunk,inner-wells & undercarriage / floors are all clean. Keep in mind this is a driver condition not a trailer queen.Has 15' rally wheelswrapped with a Firestone Redline Coker tires.
Chevy has its original matching #'s 396 engine - Engine code JQ (towards belowthe adIve uploaded a pic of the vin stamped on the block) / automatic transmission. Impala starts right up & is running & driving in great shape. Being very mechanically sound, it runs, drives, shifts & brakes fine. No smoking orweird noises. A total engine rebuild was done in mid 2005.A written down record of mostly everything that was done since 2003 - up until currently was kept including the date & cost of service. Alongside is a stack of records &receipts of some of the parts & maintenance records (including thereceipt of the engine rebuild done at Ye Old Car Shoppe in Vista, Ca). Thru those years some of the work done includes brake work as well as disc brakes w/ power booster added, newradiator, Eldelbrock carb, transmissionserviced, new mufflers &exhaust, bushings & shocks & ect..RecentlyI had thecarburetor rebuilt this past month. With all the work done thru the years it has not been driven much as mentionedearlier.
