1984 Chevrolet C-10 Scottsdale

Very clean square that can be a daily driver. If you want a clean, solid, well kept squarebody this is a good one. There really isn't anything special ab a long bed square as far as rarity goes, but it is getting harder and harder to find clean examples that haven't been screwed with. The highlights of this truck, and the reasons I bought it are simple, it's a bone stock original truck, everything is present, all emissions, cruise control, ac components, original radio (this is so hard to find everybody seems to wanna cut these dashes!), and original paint. The other big reason was that it isn't a rust bucket, there's a small rust hole about the size of a quarter in the driver side cab corner, but all of the other areas are extremely clean. The cab corner is the easiest place to fix so I wasn't worried much about it. The floors are exceptional and I have pics to prove that as I just recently stripped the interior down to refresh the plastics, deep clean everything, and put down some new carpet. I'm basically the second owner as I bought it from a gentleman who bought it from his neighbors wife to help out after he passed away and never really drove it. Not any of that really matters but it's nice to know it hasn't been passed down through a million people and it had always been well maintained. The original motor runs great, doesn't smoke, and feels strong. It's a 305 so don't get too excited 😊 it's no hot rod but it moves well enough. I feel pretty confident about the truck and have driven it on a fairly long road trip of 5 hours with zero issues. Trans feels good, it's a 700R4 so I'd imagine it's been rebuilt at some point as I rarely see these go for too long without a rebuild in original form. Cruise has kicked off once or twice but I believe it's a vacuum line issue that has caused it as the line that is on there is a lil bit brittle and cracked. If I get time I'll slap a new line on. I have new side trim moulding also that is included with the sale if wanted. I haven't had time to throw it on as it doesn't really bother me as is. Camper shell is in decent shape and if that's your thing it comes with the truck. The shell could use some tlc with the rear window hatch but all looks to be pretty solid, just needs a lil glue to reset the back glass in the frame as it tries to slide out on one side when opened. Inside of the bed is really nice also. Anyway I tried to cover most of the important stuff I could think of. I think this would be a great truck to drive and build as you go. I would love to LS swap this one but that's not gonna happen. If you have any questions fire away or shoot me a pm. Thanks.
