This truck was a Barn find in California where it spent its entire life. In the 60s the owner painted the truck and opted to put a GMC grill on the truck but it comes with an original chrome chevy grill for the truck.
The truck is solid as a rock... floorboards, cab corners, everywhere! Ive gone through everything on it keeping it period correct but a turn key driver!
Chevy 261 (not 216) straight six with original edmunds 2x2 intake, stromberg 81's and fenton valve cover and dual exhaust!
Rebuilt original 3 speed with new main shaft, bearings an synchros
Patricks 3.55 to 1 rear end that was rebuilt retaining the torque tube. (comes with the original 4.10 gears)
Upgraded to 12v (you will get the entire 6v system if you wish to go back)
All seals and rubber were replaced when I got the truck.
Windows both side and front crank.
Turn signals added using the parking lights in the front and original 50s setup in the rear with a yankee signal on the column.

The original owner backed the left rear fender into a pole in the 70s. It was repaired, VERY WELL, and skim coated and primered but never painted back to match the truck. Over the years the coating has cracked and flaked but I left it as is because it adds to the truck!
The only thing that I would consider doing next is the bed. I left it to retain the aesthetic and its strong enough for me to put vintage motorcycles in and drive around but its starting to show its age and the wood is getting soft in one spot.
All of this being said, I drive it daily and its reliable but its a 1941 so it rides like a 1941 truck. Its being sold as is and please ask ANY and ALL questions before committing to buying it.
