This is a nice 1956 BelAir custom convertible. HT conv.The body has been taken apart, and every piece has been sand blasted, acid etched, zinc primed, 2K base coat/clear coat in Standox paint. Black and Pearl White. Has not been colorsanded and buffed.The body was pretty clean to start with. The floor pans had been replaced and new rocker panels. The rear end is a late model Camaro disc brake rear. The rest of the frame and suspension is untouched original stock, meaning it needs to be gone through. Still needs X brace and a couple of floor braces underneath. There's no drive train.It's missing the upper windshield chrome, inner mouldings, and belt mouldings. These are available from Classic Industries.The power top is from a late '60s A-body which gives a better profile to the contour of the top. There is no glass. I had planned on one-piece side glass. Vent windows can be put back in. Your choice.I am including the pump for the power top. I have misplaced the rams, but if I find them, they will alsobe included. They are also available after market.Original gauges and wiring are there. They are in old condition, as are all the locks.Old style Cragars, 15" rear; 14" fronts.A box of various regulators, and some electric wiper motors go with it, as shown in one of the photos.This will make a beautiful car!Clear Title.This is an 'as-is' sale.This is a no reserve auction.
