1985 Corvette Hatchback Coupe. Please look closely at all of the photos. This Corvette had been sitting, unused, for several years before I purchased it. I have been able to get the engine to start and run, but I have not been able to get the car to drive and stay running. The original 350 Small Block V8 engine sounds good and doesn't smoke or have any unusualnoises. It has a four speed manual transmission with overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears. I Need to sell the Corvette and it is listed with no reserve. The starting bid is only $950. If no one else bids you will win the Corvette. I have the rebuilt title in my name. It is NOT a salvage title. The original owner's manual is in the glovebox. I highly value my Ebay Feedback score and I want the new owner to know exactly what they are buying. With in mind, I will list the negative aspects of my Corvette in detail. As you might expect, with astarting bid of only $950, the Corvette needs work. First, 1. The engine will start and sounds good, but will not stay running or idling. I think the fuel injectors are bad from sitting for several years. 2. Thehydraulicclutch was dry from sitting. The previous owner said that the Corvette ran good and shifted properly before it was left sitting for several years. 3. The interior is complete, but the seats are tattered and should be redone. 4. The body appears to be in good shape, but it needs paint. All of the glass is good, the doors align properly and the hood opens and closes as it was designed. The passenger's side door doesn'topen from the outside, and the hood brace is not working properly. I will gladly assist the shipper you select in shipping the Corvette anywhere in the world.
