1961 Chevrolet Impala 4 door Sport Sedan Hard top

Up for sale is a 1961 Chevy Impala four door hard top. NO POST. For those not in the know it doesn't have a post so when the two window are down it make a cool looking empty long slake look. I Don't know if I want to let this go but it may just be time. I am starting the bid of this car for close to what I paid for the seats alone. I had them but the Chevy bow ties on the doors a custom alteration to give the car some youth. My dad and I uses to do the care shows mostly with our Corvairs but this Impala was to be one that we were going to really show off. Will my dad passed away in 2016 and the car is just sitting in the two car garage. I personally put a lot of money into this car but I plan on moving and have too many cars to take. The mileage may have turned over cant be sure about that so I put 9999. Anyway let take about the car. The nice and clean and the Picture at night was a trip out about to the interior shop.

First I bought the car in 2007 and it was running and had new floors in it. I also and the transmission replace but it leaks. After that I took it to a paint shop and had the body smooth out and sand and painted red and white for the burgundy and white it had on it when I got it. I think the care was white and red originally.I took the interior out and had redone. I bought a recondition steering wheel and an old looking recondition radio with mp3 and phone connection new carpet and had it all installed after it was painted. When it was being painted the chrome was removed and I brought as much new reproduction I could fine and had it installed. One side does not have the chrome installed on it but it is in the trunk and most of it is new. New chrome for this care is expensive. I have new air shocks for this car but they are not installed. We had new brake line and power brake master cylinder. The 283 powered it back and forth form paint shop to interior shop to rim shop. Yes I put 20's (20 inch rims) on it. I think it look good with them the old wheels and rims in an old storage building that I wouldn't go in. So you get the 20's. I have not started the car in two years but believe if I put a batter and some starter fluid in it, it will start. I even had a 1961 world fair plate. I have a nice original jack for the care and some boxes of new and used Item in the trunk. The car looks good and I didn't clean it. I don't have a NY title for the car I have the Alabama registration tag that I bought it with. And I will give you a bill of sale. I had to put something in the title to post the add. Buyer will have to pay for shipping. I will not pay of shipping. Will help the buyer shipper if needed. Local pickup. One tire is flat but I will put air in it.

THE TOP HAS A LOT OF TYPING ERRORS

Up for sale is a 1961 Chevy Impala four-door hard top. There is NO POST. For those who are not familiar with this term, it means when the two windows are down, it makes it seem as if there's one big window. It's a cool-looking, empty, sleek look. I don't know if I want to let this go but it may just be time.

I am starting the bid of this car for close to what I paid for the seats alone. I had the interior guy put the Chevy bowties on the doors as a custom alteration to give the car some youth. My dad and I use to do the car shows mostly with our Corvairs but this Impala was to be one that we were going to really show off.My dad passed away in 2016 and the car is just sitting in the garage. I personally put a lot of money into this car but I plan on moving and have too many cars to take. The nice and clean pictures and the one at night was a trip out to the interior shop. The condition of the car now is how it is in the garage.

First, I bought the car in 2007 and it was running and I had new floors installed. I also had the transmission replaced but it still leaks. After that, I took it to a paint shop and had the body smoothed out, sanded and painted red and white instead of the burgundy and white it was when I got it. I think the car was white and red originally.I took the interior out and had it redone. I bought a reconditioned steering wheel and an "old looking" new radio with mp3 and phone connection to mimic the original 1961 radio. After it was painted, I had new carpet installed. When it was being painted, the chrome was removed and I brought as much new reproduction chrome I could find and had it installed. One side does not have the chrome installed on it but it is in the trunk and most of it is new. New chrome for this car is expensive.

I have new air shocks but they are not installed. A new brake line and power brake master cylinder were installed. The 283 engine powered it back and forth from paint shop, to interior shop, to rim shop. Yes, I put 20s (20 inch rims) on it. I think it looks good with the 20s.The old wheels and rims are not available. I have not started the car in two years but believe if I put a battery and some starter fluid in it, it will start. I even have a 1961 World's Fair plate and a nice original jack for the car. There are some boxes of new and used items in the trunk. The car looks good and I didn't clean it. I don't have a NY title for the car; only the Alabama registration tag that I bought it with. And I will give you a bill of sale.
