If you've been searching for a do-it-all weekend warrior, this truck should be your leading candidate.
The custom interior is leather, not vinyl, and that makes a big difference when you climb inside. The original bench is gone, replaced by a power adjustable custom setup that provides modern bolstering and all-day comfort. The cowhides look amazing with the door panels, steering wheel, and custom headliner all part of the investment in excellent leather. But more than just the materials, this is a total quality build that has all the best conveniences like power windows, power locks, and an AM/FM/CD stereo that includes Bluetooth and a USB input for the most modern music players. And just to make sure you stay cool while driving this cool custom, there's ice-cold air conditioning.
Backing up this performance appearance is a 327 cubic-inch small block that's been enhanced with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers. This setup adds extra rumble to the dual exhaust. An outstanding custom like this is meant to be driven, and so you've got great anytime features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, and the modern grip of BF Goodrich gForce tires wrapped arouond 18-inch Billet Specialties alloy wheels with lowered suspension.
David "Watty" Watkins began his professional car-building career in 1980. Working for various NASCAR Winston cup teams in building race cars for some of the biggest names in NASCAR like Sterling Marlin, Darryl Waltrip, Michael Waltrip, Dick Trickle, Tim Richmond, Ken Schrader. In 1991 Paramount Pictures contracted Watty to build fully functional race cars for the motion picture "Days of Thunder" staring Tom Cruise. Previous NFL Redskins coach and NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing also hired Watty and his team to design and build a full custom street rod that was given the prestigious title of a Great Eight finalist at the 2006 nation's premier custom car competition, the Detroit Autorama.
This awesome build took two and a half years to complete, and we have the receipts and photo book so you can relive the total restoration with others. Plus, there is title documentation and the owner's manual, too. This Chevy already has had all the hard work done to it; now all you have to do is turn the key and enjoy the ride..
