Looking to sell a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door sedan to a good home. This beauty was stored in a garage for more than 20 years before I bought it; it's not perfect, but it's a great candidate for any type of restoration - stock, restomod, hot-rod, you name it:
- Original 265 V8 engine with 93,300 miles on it
- Original 3-speed Saginaw transmission
- Optional "bypass" oil filter (rare!)
- Optional oil bath air cleaner (removed and cleaned)
It does have an electronic ignition system and new tires with less than 3,000 miles on them. At 93,300+ miles, she runs pretty good given the length of time she was laid up. There are a few issues - a small exhaust leak, the transmission needs work and the interior could use a refresh - but that's to be expected for a classic.I have a clean title on this car; in addition, I'm willing to throw in four Corvette rims (which were on the car when I bought it) and their accompanying trim as part of the deal.Asking price is $15,000 OBO, cash or cashier's checks only.
