1977 Caprice Estate wagon in very good to excellent condition, depending on your standards. Mfg in December 1976, Janesville, Wisconsin. Has blemishes and signs of age of a 40 year old car, but always garage kept and completely rust free. 350 4B motor, approx. 71,900 miles, no third row seat. Everything works, except the clock and one of the fittings on the A/C has a slow leak...needs replaced.
See pics for general appearance and two small areas of hardly visible blemishes/damage. I didn't notice either one until about the third time I washed the car after I bought it. They're not bad. Carpet is original and excellent....little stained on driver's side, but less than most. Carpet still plush overall. Mats are not original.
Newer cruise control module and speedometer cable. Newer battery, brakes, tires and exhaust system. Car smokes a bit at start-up, but stops shortly after, or as soon as you drive away. Drives and handles beautifully....I'd trust this car on any long trip.Runs very smooth and shifts flawlessly. Mechanic said it could use new valve cover gaskets....they are sweating.
I have literature style goodies to go with the car, as well as a repair manual, and a brand new waterproof CAR COVER. I also have a couple of new spare parts too.
This car has also been on TV in two different shows. It shows beautifully for cruising and I've had it in a couple of car shows.
