1968 Chevrolet El Camino project

I bought this car a number of years ag, got sick and cant complete it .I have spent over 15,000 on new and used parts including a parts car. I striped the parts car including the engine and auto trans. then junked the car. the car was originally a 69 SS 396 but there was no way to verify it and I like the 68 better.
