1978 Corvette 20,000 mile body minus engine and trans. originally L82 4 speed

1978 Chevrolet Corvette coupe

I believe this 1978 Corvette is a original paint and interior except for the after market hood . The L82 and four speed transmission were replaced early on with a 1968 L88 and a 5 speed transmission. My plans are to remove the engine and transmission so this auction is for the body only. The car was kept in a climate controlled enviorment most the time, so there is no rust any where on the car or frame. The original paint is very nice and shows very minor checking. The original interior is in ec with no rips or wear. The only thing is the passenger sun visor does not pivot up or down. The under carriage still retains a lot of originality. The car is setup for a big block right now, so some one can either put a big block, or another L82 or a late model drivetrain in it. The car drives very tight like a 20,000 mile car should. I will show pictures of under the hood with the motor but the auction is for the car without engine and trans. I am not a Corvette expert so you should have some body come and inspect the car before purchase. Any questions John 630 333 8333
