1969 Chevrolet Camaro Numbers Matching 327/210hp Oct 1968 built Original
This is for the purist that wants a great investment grade 1969 LeMans Blue acrylic lacquer, correct nut and bolt frame off factory correctrestoration. This is a numbers matching car from front to back, if something wasn't original, I shopped for the exact correct part, from the flag termed wires with a 1969 rebuild kit when distributor was rebuilt, to the tower clamps, poly glas Goodyear Wide Oval, correct XG and dated 9/7 68' rallys.... Check it out.Shove a 427 in it and you have a Copo as one perspective buyer had stated, I found one for 20k.Build probably has approximately 2000 pics; I haven't counted, display disc for slide show at the Show's. Came out very nice. I'd give it a 9/10 BTW: anything replaced I still have for a driver car if someone's lookin for quality NOS, OEM Camaro parts, I have a few, I replaced everything that would need replacing, this car isbrand new now, a time machine!. Have receipts for EVERYTHING. Original miles 51,372k before total rebuild. Have Bill Of Lading from NCRS due to such an early car for that year. Original CA carBut that someone that wants all the cool correct time warping of this 1969' Camaro, investment grade classic camaro, has correct transverse/crossover exhaust. THIS IS THE ONE. It'd be hard to dial in any better. I'm giving it away, I've got the receipts over the last 24 months to prove it. None of it is labor either. Has the vinnumbers on side of block near oil filter (harder to see due to rough cast surface stampedand top left of center transmission bellhousing.) Engine pad numbers T0928FK, trim tag is 10A build, trim 711 and 71/71 paint codes. It's a true numbers matching car, who clones a two barrel? I'm sure there is stuff that I am forgetting, The main thing, this is a brand new car. It's factory correct to the best of my ability. This car was purely built as an investment. Please call with any and all inquiries 530two8two2899 Has headrests!, just didn't put echelon on to slide em in. Purchaser will get em to do what they want w/ new echelons.
UPDATE 09/17: according to some folks that came over 9/09 they stated the lower tail panel has been smoothed. I have not noticed this until now, besides braisingevidence on bottom, I know a full replacement tail panel would show somewhere else, and I have no signs of this. May have been replaced, but it was only the bottom half???? Excellent job on it, had to be professional not my father nor I. I would of put an RS tail then on it IMO, but I think it's factory, for whatever reason they did it, because all metal has the GM stampings like the K11 or H22 ect..the trunk turndowns are there and not messed with, no massive undercoating to hide anything either,And who would braise with brass besides the factory, even I have a 220v spot welder, I would of spot welded it. I have had 6 Camaros, 3 1969's and I did not even notice the difference until it was pointed out, the seem behind bumper I had seen on others, but not noticed the gaps for lower tail beneath bumper corners,so this one has been smoothed as shown in picture and price has been adjusted to reflect this unfortunately. 30k will buy the car. That translates to most folks, 28k in person. BTW, the judges at Rolling Hills Casino at the Ribs and Rods show were very impressed with carand said nothing of the tail panel nor asked about it as if it were repaired, I don't believe they noticed either. At this price, I'd drive her until you wanted to resto-mod it out. Made me sad to realize that little information, but wanted to relay accurate info to any possible buyer, have receipts for full correct restoration too, may have done an LS swap if I had noticed and mods, whether or not it deserved one. Have some other cars too, 1969 SS 396 4 spd Chevelle rare car rust free, and a 1971 Camaro with mods, Any extra parts will go with appropriate car. Also have another grill so someone can paint that one if they think it was supposed to be painted. I have contradicting information from dealer and books. So, not being born when car came out,I can't say. I did what I interpreted to be correct for car.. Based on several sources 3 separate books, The Camaro Factory assembly manuals, ect... including Rick's Camaro's (Eckler's) who is one of the best sources for NOS, OEM, correct factory reproduction parts. Please call with questions number below. Pictures of every step, but taken with an LG cheepy phone, please come check out car, pictures do not do it justice with the camera I have. Joe
