1978 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray "Pace Car Edition" finished in Pace Car Black/Silver over Silver interior. This special car comes to us with ONLY 50487 miles and has just come out of a Northwest enthusiast's personal collection. 1978 Marked Chevrolet's 'Silver' Anniversary and they were honored by being the official pace car for the Indy 500. These special edition cars were limited to only 6500 and were on a first come first serve basis. This example remains in its original condition and features the NUMBERS MATCHING 350 V8 motor mated to the 3-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment for the Pace Car includes; special black/silver paint with Pace Car graphics silver leather upholstery power windows power door locks removable mirrored glass T-Tops rear window defogger air-conditioning sport mirrors alloy wheels white letter tires tilt/telescoping steering wheel power antenna rear radio speakers convenience group and also coming with upgraded Kenwood CD player. This car was just fully serviced inclusive of all fluid/filters new battery and master cylinder. Included with the car are various publications highlighting this rare and limited edition pace car!
