1950 Chevrolet Other 3100

Bought this truck in California in 2007 and began restoring it. Has Mustang II front clip professionally installed with disk brakes and dropped spindles and power steering. Ridetech adjustable shockwave airbags allow it to be dropped to the ground. New brake lines in front. Rebuilt 383 engine with mild cam was installed a few years ago, has probably 500 miles on it. Upgraded with Edelbrock 750 electric choke, intake, fuel pump. Also installed 700R4 auto tranny with upgraded torque converter and shift kit. Column shifted from brand new chrome column and steering wheel. New shocks in rear along with 4 link with air bags. Compressor and tank installed under the bed, along with the new fuel tank. New exhaust with dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers installed.
Headlights frenched. Two inch wider rear fenders and matching running boards, which are fiberglass. Has ten inch rear tires on truck now. Door handles shaved with poppers installed, drip molding shaved, tailgate molded to bed, stake pockets filled, power driver/passenger window, one piece windshield comes with truck. Air bags all installed and plummed. Compressor fills quickly and truck nearly touches ground when all the way down, no c notch.
This truck is being sold as a project but it does run and drive great. All major parts have been replaced. Minor work needed to get it on the road. Some wiring needs to be done for rear lights. All new gauges and new door panels installed. I have the original seat that is out of truck that can go with it if wanted. Has newer seat installed. Interior wiring needs to be finished, but harness has been installed and ran to most parts. Vintage Air installed but not filled. Power windows are installed and wired but not door poppers.
Truck is rust free. It is painted in blue laquer now. I custom mixed laquer paint to look like red oxide under the blue paint. The plan was to sand some of the blue paint off to give it the patina look. I have yet to sand the blue off except for in some test areas. It is not a professional paint job but looks decent as is but will look really good sanded to have the primer looking paint show through. Leave it as is or go for the rat rod look. Add somehours of body work and paint, and you would have a $30k-$40k truck. Could not buy and install all of the new parts for what I am selling truck for. I am selling so I can build a shop, kind of ironic. It is just a waste having a truck with so much potentialsitting in my garage. I havemany parts to finish truck. Brand new parts have been bought over the past few years, yet to be installed. Complete custom 7 piece bed wood kit ($500) is in bed, but not bolted down. I am leaving them unstained so the new buyer can decide what tone to stain. Rod Door door panels and rear panel ($400) installed, fiberglass headliner needs covered but I have the material. Dolphin speedo and instrument cluster installed.New wiper motor and arms, windshield, dash, dash insert parts not installed.
Truck is sold as is. I have it listed locally and could end this auction at anytime. If anyone interested wants to see better pictures or pictures of certain areas, let me know and I can send some.
Also have new coil springs, de-arched leaf springs, and other parts that go with it if wanted. One piece windshield is not installed at this time.
