1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

NCRS, Corvette at Carlisle, Bloomington Gold want to get attention and awards from the top Corvette shows? Take a closer look at this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. With the original paint looking amazing, original interior, hard & soft tops, numbers-matching V8, plenty of documentation, only 3,617 miles, and still on the original MSO, you're looking at a true survivor of an exceptional caliber. You are looking at the same paint that was applied at the St. Louis factory over 45 years ago. If you think the code 10 Classic White looks great in the pictures, you'll be astonished how even more amazing it is in person. Factory paint can only remain this stunning when a car has been so well cared for and averaged less than 80 miles annually. Having great paint is essential on a '75, even if you're not out to win the top level survivor awards for which this Stingray can compete. This was the first year of the single piece rear end and there was also an updated front fascia. These C3s make less use of chrome and allow the bodylines to have a cool seamless appearance. So for this to be at its best, the white needs to be this pristine and all the panel gaps need to be uniform, too. And as you can see from the pictures, this one has never even see the wrong side of a curb, the headlight doors remain flush, and the passenger doors close with authority. Still, it cannot be a true American classic without some brightwork, and that's reserved for the iconic Rally wheels and the correct rocker panel trim in between them. Ultra low mileage also means very little seat time, so the optional saddle leather interior looks exceptional. The few times this car was out in the world, it's clear that either its matching white folding roof or hardtop was usually in place, because there is no sun damage inside this drop top. Like any good Corvette of the era, this one came loaded with features including power windows, AM/FM stereo, tilt wheel, and air conditioning. For the driver, there's a comfortable three-spoke sports steering wheel. Beyond that is the large speedometer and tachometer in front, and a full gauge cluster prominently to the side. This whole package feels like a time warp of factory fresh right down the thick pile on the stock floormats. The engine is the original, numbers-matching L48 350 cubic inch V8. It appears 100% stock right down to Chevy orange paint on the block, correct gaskets on the air cleaner assembly, and the chrome shield protecting the ignition system. But look closer, and you can see the belts, wires, and hoses have all received proper care over the years. So it's an engine bay that's highly detailed for originality but still very functional making this Corvette the ideal balance of show and go. The motor fires right up with ease, and the TH400 three-speed automatic was intended for any heavy-duty use the Corvette could throw at it. If you do decide to add a few miles to the odometer, you'll be rewarded with a muscular sound out of the dual exhaust and the excitement of the sport-tuned chassis from America's sports car. Add in power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and the grip of BF Goodrich tires, and we're certain you'll want to get this one over 4K miles in no time. The 1975 Stingray convertible is already desirable as the last of the C3 droptops, but you already know this one has a lot more allure attached to it, too. Complete with the factory build sheet, dealer invoice, original bill of sale, warranty card, original window sticker, original MSO, and plenty more documentation of ownership and maintenance, this classic Corvette is ready for the show field. You know how rare it is to find a survivor this complete with so few miles. Act fast...call today!!!
