Vehicle Details1951 Superior Cadillac Civil Defense 3 door ambulance. 1 of 9 built for military/civil defense, original Navy service placard on dash (as shown). Original 331 with 2bbl WCD carb (rebuilt), three speed on the column LaSalle transmission. Original Georgia car, original GA plate GOV 7116 comes with vehicle.
Front floors have been patched and sound deadened. Bucket seats (power driver) and console added, original rear jumps seats and back rests reupholstered. Rear floor is solid. New carpet throughout. Windshield has been replaced with Lexan. New stereo with backup camera, amplifier, and 6 speakers. 12 volt fuse panel installed.
New brake system power brake system installed. Disc brakes on front with rebuilt rear drum set. New gas tank installed. Coker front tires and new radial rear tires (tubed) with portawall white walls add ons.
All emergency lights and siren (Federal WLR) in working order. Civil Defense survey meters and dosimeters intact as well (come with vehicle) Appleton spot light does not work.
Runs and drives as it should. Overall solid car, rockers are rusted as shown (have both patch panels that come with vehicle) doors have some rust on lower panels, drivers side door glass is cracked. Original paint has been oiled to prevent further rust.
