Copies of the original paperwork are included.SELLER NOTESI purchased this Wildcat in April 2012 from an owner in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At the time, the car had 65k original miles. It was with me in Chicago for several years, and only used for weekend motoring and the occasional road trip to neighboring states. The car had year-round storage in a parking garage, and has never seen snow.Coil springs replaced in August 2013.The car has the original 325 hp 401 cubic-inch V8. The engine was removed and rebuilt several years ago after the original seals began to deteriorate and the engine began leaking oil.In 2022, the car underwent a $12k exterior restoration at an award-winning body shop over the course of nine months. While stripped, there were no major body issues found other than typical corrosion in the trunk bed; new plates were welded in a few corners and now the bed is solid. (Restoration photos available upon request.)The A/C unit works but needs servicing; it’s not as ice-cold as it could be.The car runs okay but is working with the original carburetor, which needs to be rebuilt. Because I never drove the car regularly, I always needed to unscrew the air cleaner and spray a few shots of fluid starter for successful ignition. The same is true today. The antenna is not electric; it’s fixed but can be unscrewed from the fender mount as needed. One rear protective floor mat is missing. The remaining three are original.Trunk includes the original full-size spare tire. Jack is present but missing the lever. In 2024, the original rear speakers gave out after 58 years. I took the car into a shop with the intention of fixing the speakers and installing a new rear package tray. This they did, but only at the expense of removing the original AM/FM radio, which I was told was incompatible with the new speakers. I was sold an aftermarket digital unit that has a vintage look to it.While removing the original dashboard—which was mint—it suffered a crack on the passenger side. An attempt was made by the shop to fix this unfortunate issue with a spray formula, but the technique only roughened the surface (and the crack persists). Ideally, the entire unit needs to be removed, once again, for a proper restoration. (I can recommend a company in Van Nuys, California who specializes in this type of work.)The original radio unit is still in my possession, and will be given to the new owner. The cruise control feature, which is housed on the dash pad just above the radio, was damaged during dashboard removal. The plastic housing is now being held in place with electrical tape.Overall, the interior is in excellent condition for its age but does have the usual wear-and-tear around high-touch items, such as the driver’s door rest. The rear seat has a few small tears at the base, likely from rough-handling during service and restoration efforts. The original headliner is starting to pull away from the C-pillar on the passenger side. The driver’s side window is known to depart from its internal track; it needs proper realignment to firmly open and close. The interior has no cigarette burns, and to my knowledge has never been smoked in. The vinyl seats are still firm, and with an annual application of a lanolin-based cleaner will stay supple for years.I would say that the buyer’s main goal is to get the carburetor rebuilt; do that and she will drive like a sweetheart. I’ve religiously maintained this vehicle for 13 years and she’s been very loyal to me in return; she’s never left me stranded. We’re looking for a new owner with deep appreciation for those “Motown lines” and will help keep her on the road for another 60 years.Best of luck, and cheers!
