Description:

1986 Buick Grand National

I'M NOT A CAR DEALER. MY NAME MAY MAKE YOU THINK THAT.
I see that the vehicle history report by Auto Check shows a title issue. If you read into it it says it's because the odometer has rolled over after 99999. The history report for this car should actually have the highest numbers, no accidents, two owners. Thanks
1986 Buick Regal Grand National with intercooled turbo.
The quickest US production car made in 1986.
Quicker than the Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, and everything else!
1986 is the rarest intercooled GN made. Only 5,512. were made.
I have owned it for 30 years.
I purchased from the original owner in 1993.Come take it for a ride. You will not be disappointed.

No accidents.
Looks and runs real nice.
Original paint except the hood and rear deck lid, the bumpers and the fillers. (I have new hood emblems, I didn't put them back on yet.)
Also a little touch up down low.
It's got a little bit of rust on the door bottoms on the inside. It still looks fine on the outside. The roof might need to be painted or just keep it original sun faded.
It was rust proofed when new by Ziebart Rustproofing. It's been garaged most of it's life.

The interior is very nice.
The seats and the rest of the interior is in very good condition. The drivers seat has just got the tiniest split(barely visible in the pictures)
No modifications to the dash.
No cracks in the dashboard. The steering wheel leather is nice, no cracking. The power windows, locks, and antenna work fine.I put in the factory looking VDO gauges in the console. No drilling or glue.It does have an expensive stereo system put in by the original owner. It has a sunroof that does not open anymore. The A/C does not work. I haven't used it in years. The electronic tach and boost gauge do not work correctly. The VDO volt gauge is just hanging on the brake release handle. The door sills both go corrosion hole in the front screw holes. I never got around to replacing them.
It runs nice and shifts strong. Idles nice. It's all stock no modifications, except the brake system has been changed over.I have the original PowerMaster brake unit that can be rebuilt and put back.It has a very nice mandrel bent dual exhaust system. It looks just like the original, but a much much better system.Posi rear end.
The Goodyear tires are old but have less than 10,000 miles on them.
I replaced the tires with the same tire and size as the original. Goodyears.
I have replaced so many parts over the years. These are just some in the last few years:Water pump, belt tensioner, hoses, complete rear brakes, plug wires, battery, alternator, starter, belt, power antenna, radiator, and more.
I replaced the windshield. It was pitted.I replaced the windows sweeps just last year.I replaced the door hinges, no sagging doors, so the doors shut just like new.
I have a bunch of extra parts and the original removed parts and booksIncluded are dark headlight covers and the dark front marker light covers and license plate cover.(see picture)
A "New" cover, a Grand National car cover is included. Not the one in the picture. That's the old one.
The original window sticker.I have an extra radio4 extra wheels. 1 is bent. I purchased the set of 4, one for the spare and the others because they were there.
The original radiator.
The original powermaster brake booster.A new in the box wiper motor and washer pump.I think the original alternator is still good. I replaced it when I shouldn't have. The original mass air flow sensor is still good also. I replaced it when I shouldn't have.I have a bunch of Buick marketing materials
GN facts book. Signed by the author.
Magazines with GN's on the cover.
and much more.
You get it all.

YOU WILL LOVE THIS CAR.Thanks for checking it out! What's it worth?
