1946 Buick Roadmaster

You are looking at a beautiful 1946 Buick-- it runs and drives as it should. Paint on the car is a strong 8 of 10; I tend to be conservative on my valuations. 95% of the chrome is near perfect, but the chrome on the trunk handle and hood latches are weak. Interior is very nice, still has original burlap and inspection tags on the springs. All the windows go up and down smoothly as nice as they did the day the car was built and all rubber and window fuzzies are in beautiful shape (not sure when they were replaced). The car has all original floors and has to be some of the cleanest I have ever seen on a '40s/'50s Buick. Car has no sings of rust that I can find and I have been around the car with a paint magnet-- only real signs of filler is where the few items that have been shave are... ie- nosed and decked and side tail light on rear fenders. I can confidently say the car is and always has been a rust-free car and very well taken care of over the years. With that being said, I did not restore the car and I am human so I could have missed something but I don't think so. Car does have a new water pump and has been 12v converted and gas pedal start still works as it should-- very cool feature. Suspension has Fatmans drop upright Accuair CVT Endo tank and Airlift Dominator air bags. Spotlights are functional but unfortunately whoever installed them did them a touch too low which make it difficult to open the hood but not terrible. Only reason I am selling the car is I have started to chase the dream of being a pilot and I am looking to buy a plane so trying to free up some cash.
