1959 Buick Electra

Offered here is a rare model of a 1959 Buick Electra 225 flattop. This car is an original Lido Lavender car that is heavily optioned. In addition to the normal power options, the car has power seats, power windows, power antenna, Autronic eye, Factory AC and the heater thermostat option which was GM's first attempt at climate control. The car needs a full cosmetic restoration in and out. I bought it in 2012 with that intention however I am no longer wanting a project due to age and finances. I did another '59 225 flattop in 2000 that recently sold from the man who purchased it from me in 2011 for $50k. These cars seem to continue to increase in value. There are very few of these 225's left especially ones that are as optioned as this car. The car runs and drives well. I had the transmission rebuilt, the brakes redone, spring assisted shocks installed and some other minor work done. It was stored for many years in a barn in Nebraska, then to Seattle and then to me. No rust visable.
