1977 Buick Skylark Sport with built motor, X-body similar to Nova and Omega
1977 Buick Skylark
1977 Buick Skylark for sale in the Sacramento California area. Before you bid please read carefully. I am posting everything I know about the car but have only owned it for a short time. I originally purchased the car only for the running gear.
Exterior: Body straight no dents, original metallic red paint. Landau top aged but no lifting or bubbling underneath or around back window. Primer, surface rust showing in some spots. Have extra rear bumper filler panels (3 piece). Front grill pieces. Right rear tail light cracked. I only have the ignition and locking gas cap key, the previous owner broke the door/trunk key off in the trunk cylinder. I am including this lock cylinder with the car.
Interior: All original Sport interior, Front bucket seats need new upholstery, back seats old, door panels decent, Carpet (red) faded, dash has cracks, head liner good, dusty dirty inside.
Engine: 1970-1976 350 block #3970014 (#CGC front pad) .030 over, Edelbrock Aluminum performer heads (studded), Performer dual plane intake, Holley 750 Vac secondaries, Performance cam, Headers, Electric fuel pump with regulator & pressure gauge, Large plastic/aluminum radiator, Performance HEI, Performance 2.5 exhaust with up and overs dumping behind the wheels. The previous owner claims the motor is a 383, If so, it is internally balanced with no tell-tale flexplate or harmonic balancer counterweights. Engine has lots of torque and sounds mild until you open up the throttle.
Transmission: Turbo 350, firm shift, aftermarket cooler, drive shaft safety loop
Rearend: 10 bolt 3:23 posi-traction, new brakes.
Suspension: Gas shocks all the way around, Fat front sway bar, front disc brakes. Upper A-frames need bushings.
Tires/Wheels: GM 15X7 ralley wheels with good 60 series radial tires. Car needs drag radials or sticky tires for traction.
Paperwork: Clean title DMV paperwork in my name, all fees paid. Car not set up to pass strict California smog test. Car is from Nevada and was used as a street car/bracket racer. A/C is hooked up ( no belt) and has been converted to 134A. Car always starts and drives good. Car was last raced at Sacramento Raceway Park during Grudgefest Event on 10-14-17.
Will sell Body less motor, trans, exhaust, with extra body parts for the right price. I originally bought this car for the engine a trans but I hate to separate the current combination
