1964 Buick Skylark

To many cars and not enough time, so Im going to let this one go for a very reasonable reserve. This 1964 Skylark/Special Deluxe has been garage kept for the last year that I have had it. At that time it had just received fresh paint which is driver quality. Paint is smooth to the touch however there are a few cracks in the paint at the B pillars. Car does come with 1-gallon of matching paint. Dont know alot about the car other than it appears super solid and straight with no dents. Only rust that I have found is in the trunk pan and you can buy a new one hear on ebay pretty cheap. The ugly Skylark trim has been removed and holes welded shut prior to painting. Body is really straight and has new seals. New door window seals have not been installed but come with car. Car runs smooth with its 340 4 barrel and auto on the column. Car is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes and all the original air conditioning equipment is in place. There are no leaks, drips or smoke. The 340 currently in the car more than likely came out of a 1966-67 GS car as that was the only years they were produced. Car does have a new dual exhaust system that stops at the rear axle with turn downs. Front suspension appears to have all been rebuilt. Tires hold air however they are weathered. On the interior, the dash is in good condition with 1 crack in the middle, front seat has recently been reupholstered, back seat is not original but fits the space well. Lots of parts in the trunk come with the sale, covered door panels, original kick panels, extra set of tail lights, new Skylark emblems, nice used grill to replace the damaged grill that is still on the car, head light bezels and more. The front bumper has slight damage in the middle and will need straightening and rechrome. Although car does run and drive, I would recommend transporting as a result of the aging tires and may need an alignment. Brakes work well. Overall this is a very nice classic that still needs some final touches to be a very cool ride. I can be reached at (615) 785-5808 if you have additional questions.
